Hand-woven Clutch bag

 

This one of a kind clutch bag is the result of mixing cotton, linen, ribbon and different acrylic fantasy fibers all in a creamy-white palette.

It is lined with pure silk, structured with fusible interfacing directly in contact with the weaving work and sew-in interlining between both; enough to be firm but without losing its natural feel.

A little bit rustic but with a touch of glamour… it has some loose sticking out fibers that are the result of the weaving technique.

Yesterday I had one of those days everything is gray …almost black and I just wanted to sleep, I thought, why not? I stoped everything I was doing and I slept a couple hours …
When I woke up and checked my shops… to my surprise I find that some products had increased from 40 to 260 in views! and there were many more favorites! I entered the forum to see if there was something wrong, then I realized that I had appeared on the frontpage and I had missed it!

So, I started to look desperatly to know how and where to find it (it’s a nice sensation for ego) … and I learned that Flickr has a group (Etsy Frontpagers) that is dedicated to upload them … All thanks to femmedetails (http://femmedetails.etsy.com) who made a beautiful treasury and was released on the first page, thanks for including my handwoven scarf!

Unisex scarf!!

I’m so delighted with the loom! I think my corcheting and knitting staff are going to be delayed a little bit!!
To make this scarf I started with a difficult task, using very fine silk and wool threads I bought from a site in UK and I took the risk but the results were more than I expected…
A very good gift either for men or women!
