Olive shawl

I still have the idea of continuing developing new models, although I have made new colors of the ones that I have already designed…

This shawl was created from the material .. as almost always … I saw  I had left enough cotton, a very fine one, those that when you see it, you know it will be a challenge … but finally after having worked three days without rest and then need two to recover from back pain:) gave me much satisfaction to see how it turned out that nothing mattered …

I finished it with a leather brooche and voila! … hopefully I can continue to develop this model in more colors … all depends on the acceptance …

Summer crocheted scarves and necklaces

wow, such a difficult mission to sit down in front of the PC in summertime!

but in the other hand I found myself doing lots of accesories in a season I have called of “explosion of creativity”…

looking on my stash I saw a lot of flowers (yes I love them)  and I did these two necklaces… one of them can be used as a headband (I think the other one is more difficult due to the two pom-poms but maybe if you like extravagancies…)

Then I also had made these pieces in crochet I wanted to use for  another project, but I thought it was nice to use them as borders for these scarves… and if you see it is the same motif, but they have very different styles.. one of them more romantic and the other one is a very risky one… I didn’t think of please anyone, just to combine colors, and to my surprise people appreciated a lot… and it was on Etsy’s frontpage… oh yeah! 😉

A blue sky shawl

I have to say that the project I was knitting with my circular needles was not what I expected to be… so, once I finished it, I decided to take it apart and start a new one with the same fiber.

It is incredible how something that take hours to build can be destroyed in seconds.. very metaphorical but true.

So, I thought in a poncho again, but then I imagined how this piece would be as a shawl, in a “décontracté” style for the nights of summer, when after sunbathe we need to cover our shoulder with something light and soft… and this was the result.

Second version

It’s been a long time not publishing anything for one of my creations so it’s time to upgrade! and it will be more this week!

This time I’ve made a second version of my romantic “springy” shawl in pure cotton and pastel colors … I love seeing the variations of the models without repeating the colors … what would be the next?

A romantic shawl/scarf

As spring is coming very slowly all the garments I’m creating are “in the middle of” so, you can wear them right now, and still wearing them in spring. I also try to give them a personal style but in the classical way, so you can still using them as those pieces you have felt in love with once and you can’t wear only one season….
This scarf was made in very fine merinos wool and is a crochet lace work, embelished with little flowers , very feminine , light and versatil.écharpe

Always I've liked geometry in all the senses: mathematical, philosophical and aesthetic. It has been my main source of inspiration together with the Golden Ratio. Even in the covers of my notebooks there is a rational analysis of composition on the basis of the covers' format with the proportion of size and position of the papers making the collage […]
